Most business owners struggle with content ideas.

They wonder what people should post or if their topic is even worth talking about.

But here’s the shortcut I wish I knew earlier:

Google will tell you exactly what content to make.

Start Copying Google.

Instead of brainstorming ideas from scratch, do this:

  1. Go to Google

  2. Type in your service

    • Example: marketing

  3. Add words like:

    • how

    • why

    • what

So you’d type:

  • how marketing…

  • why marketing…

  • what marketing…

Then stop and look at what Google autofills.

Google Autocomplete Is Free Market Research

Those suggestions don’t appear randomly.

They’re there because a LOT of people searched them.

In other words, Google is LITERALLY TELLING YOU that these are the exact questions your customers are already asking.

Which means if you create content answering those questions, you’re giving people what they already want.

This is called the Dream 100 approach for Google from the book ‘Traffic Secrets’ by Russell Brunson.

You find 100 of these search terms and make content about them, and you’re set.

Obviously, you don’t have to do all 100, but over the long term, it does build you a solid content base.

Why This Dream 100 Google Approach Works So Well

Most businesses create content based on what they want to talk about.

But the businesses that do best create content based on what customers are already searching for.

When you do that:

  • Your content feels relevant

  • People trust you faster

  • Your blog posts and social content perform better

  • Your SEO improves naturally

Because you’re answering real questions, not made-up ones.

This Works For Any Local Business

Examples:

If you’re a roofer:

  • “How long does a roof last?”

  • “Why is my roof leaking?”

  • “What does a roof replacement cost?”

If you’re a plumber:

  • “Why does my boiler keep losing pressure?”

  • “How much does a plumber cost?”

If you’re a marketer:

  • “How long does SEO take?”

  • “Why are my ads not working?”

Every one of those can be:

  • A blog post

  • A social media post

  • A reel

  • A carousel

  • A website FAQ

Content That Gets You Clients

When you answer questions people are already searching for, they don’t see you as a business trying to sell.

They see you as the expert helping them understand their problem.

And when it’s time to buy, you’re the first person they think of.

If You’re Ever Stuck With Content Ideas…

Remember this:

Don’t think of it as making content, think of it as answering questions.

Google already knows what people are asking. You just have to listen.
